Hey all - we have an Android test build that we'd like to invite anyone interested to help us test. It should address the stability issues and the random crash messages that some of you may be experiencing.

Anyone interested can drop me a private message for more info.

So you're looking for EXISTING Lightbox customers?

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

I second this question.
Or can it just be on the 30 day trial?
I have literally a drawer full of android devices, from gingerbread all the way up to Lollipop

I finally figured out - Lightbox crashes every time I press a volume control,  not sure if this is a known issue?

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

I'm looking forward to this as I only really have Chromecasts for using LB so having this fixed would be good.

I'm keen to try, I'm using existing app and while it works 99% of the time is still a bit hit and miss so keen to help

One thing I've noticed is the random error message of light box not working seems to be triggered by YouTube videos, as in start a YouTube video(by link not direct from YouTube app) and error message pops up

Are you going to make the app available on the Amazon store? That would be great!

Hi Matt, we don't currently have any plans to do so at this stage.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

So glad you are doing this. Due.

Are testers supposed to be already subscribers?

Yes - the beta build will use the same credentials you would currently use.

Hi Wade - that's exactly the defect we're trying to fix! If you're interested, PM me your Google Account email address and I'll add you to the beta list.

You can test if you're within the 30 day trial.

Yep - thats part of the reason we're testing the beta - we're pretty sure we've fixed this one.

Can I add the fact that the connection to Chromecast is lost/restored message which sits over the bottom of the screen (of the android device) hangs around a lot and needs to be swiped/touched over and over again to get rid of it - even after viewing has stopped, Chromecast has been disconnected and Lightbox exited (gracefully)?

When will the Beta be available?

The connection message is designed to be displayed for 2 seconds - although if the connection is dropping in & out it may persist. How long is the message persisting?

Hoping to have the beta made available today so testers can use it over the weekend - but no guarantees at this stage.
