If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

What is the update process for the MySky boxes?  Just leave them on/tuned for a while, or is there a trigger of some description to make it look for the update?  (I'm assuming HDi)

Leave it on and it will update when your turn comes, it's an OTA update.  It will be done in batches as well so you might get it before others or others may get it before you.

Errors are expected from time to time, it's 1 hell of an update being done at the OS level etc.

Can restart the box and watch tv on old software, until it discovers I'm guessing an update flag being transmitted few mins later and back to stuck update 'process'. I'd understand a failed update but this is weird :( I'm guessing they just gonna swap out the box

Sounds like a box swap sorry :(
They might try a manual update but only a tech can do these
