Just a thought about Sky

Is this the way to let people know that Sky Go is broken, and has been broken for hours?

Do they not have any ability to put messages on their website, or twitter, or facebook?  Or have they just stopped caring?

At least now I know it's not only me!

Maybe Wellington 7s + ODI Cricket = overload = fail.

So how long before they drop SkyGo, and give subscribers access to Fanpass instead?

If this was an isolated incident, I'd be more forgiving. I'm going to cancel my subscription first thing tomorrow morning.

The communication from Sky has been hopeless.. they acknowledged that there was an issue a few hours into the outage. We got one update shortly after that but they have been silent for 4 hours.

I can log in now, which is an improvement. No picture/audio though. For such a huge day of sport, this is really disappointing.

I'm now watching the Australian open mens final on an unlicensed stream.

There is a huge number of disgruntled customers commenting https://www.facebook.com/SKYnewzealand/?fref=ts https://www.facebook.com/SKYnewzealand/posts_to_page/

And if Mr Fellett believes that computer users could log in, he's either being economical with the truth, or he has been lied to.

Either way, another 20 year customer is lost to Sky.

For those who have satellite but can't stream 7Live I noticed today that the Australian men's final was being broadcast on Intelsat19, RTS. You don't really need the commentary for something like this.
