The new Asian TFC channel on SKY is a prime example, of how to mess up aspect ratios!

Although we can't blame Sky as they are just playing it as delivered.

From looking at all the channels SKY has recently added it appears all of them have the aspect ratio problem. But all their native outputs across the globe is like that from what I have been accessing.

This aspect ratio seems a common problem  on 2nd level channels.  I notice on Freeview the main offenders are the Chinese and Indian channels.   Triangle TV used to annoy me when on on  analog .  Don't know what it's like in Sky..

China still produces a lot of content in 4:3 with things letterboxed into that. Pass it thru a few inbetween places and you get double letterboxed pillarboxed blurry crap with text all over it.

While this is possible. The Indian channels have this issue and I can 100% confirm that they are not broadcast in 4:3 in India. Looks like a Sky issue.

Noticed this today.. if you look at the channel logo (bug) at the top right of the screen, it's not stretched.  So the content is playing like this from the overseas source.

Same on Freeview so it's an APNA problem..

Has anyone found a solution to this? All the indian channels broadcast in 4:3 and its super irritating. Especially if you're going to charge $10 a channel.
