Hi All;

Not sure if anyone else out there has received the invitation from Sky. But it appears that they are trialling a software update which hopefully will fix the issues around the update they provided late last year.

After being asked to conduct an initial survey, I have received an email this morning saying that we qualify to be part of the trial and it will be sent through by the end of the week.

It will be interesting to see what changes they have made and if it performs any quicker!

In everything I have received, there has been no mention of that yet. It must be getting pretty close to being released to the general populous as it appears to be sent out to random members of the public for testing.

I will certainly post updates as things develop.

I got the same email last week. The update was to happen sometime last week, but still on the RR99 version as of yesterday.

They said they would email me after the upgrade.

I don't know if they have done anything yet. But I noticed this morning that all the text appears to be in bold.

Besides that, it still has a lot of lag and feels awkward to use.

If the change was just the text, then I'm a little disappointed.

Mine was updated early Tuesday morning and so far the bold text is the only difference I have noticed...talk about underwhelming!!

It is easier to read than before but just looks weird having everything in bold!!

Noticed it last night too, yes functionally works, but it doesn't look quite right.

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old text (*on a 55 1080p)

No it was a problem for a lot of people, even a tired me. But this looks weird now

After time it will start to look normal

Mine was upgraded too. Darker font is the noticeable change.

It's more responsive too, but sometimes appears to have stopped working then suddenly catches up with my inputs.

If they can get ride of the lag i think it will be good.
