Well as the title suggests, paying legally to use Sky via subscription to SoHo what is the best way to watch Game Of Thrones Season 6?

The first TV has the old non-HD receiver.

The second is a MySky but in a bedroom, it can be moved but is a PITA.

The third option would be to stream via Sky Go.

Does Sky Go stream in HD? I may not be home when I want to watch it so if this is HD it would be a good option for me.

Also is anyone else looking forward to the new season?

The cynic in me wonders why, with all the equipment already setup, why you can't try watching something else now and figuring it out for yourself...

The BEST way is to be born American, work hard, become the President of the Unites States, and get an early-release DVD, and watch that in the White House on Pennsylvania Boulevard, with butler service for refreshments.

Final option - Neon.  I presume it just gets made available at a certain time on the Monday, to stream as you wish.  Its only in SD tho

SkyGo is average res at best IMHO.

Out of those options I'd be choosing the Sky Box.

As an aside morally (or legally) if you watch a torrent at exactly the same time is it is legally available to you for watching via another source , and there are no ads mid-legal broadcast are you doing anything wrong?

Does anyone know what time a show becomes available on Neon?  I'd like to see GOT ASAP, not a few hours, or the next day after everyone else...

Well, that's what my brother said when I first lost US NF, "if you feel you've validly paid for it, just torrent it and continue paying the US NF sub"

Still doesnt feel 'right' to me though (for once!) I can't really say why not 🤔

I'm in an awkward position. Monday through Friday I travel around NZ. The hardest part is not finding out what happened until I can get home.

I'm not sure what the best way to watch remotely would be. Torrenting from a motel/hotel is a bit dodgy, and that's not withstanding only a few have unlimited data options. I have Skygo and 4gb on my tablet. But I'm not sure I really want to watch in SD, and on a 7 inch device!

This is the first episode where we don't know (based on books) roughly what will happen.  I'm genuinely excited, although a bit sad that when I read the next book, I will know more or less what is going to happen.

Torrenting from a motel/hotel is a bit dodgy

Thats the best way to get stuff when travelling - especially when they have zero controls on their wifi to limit data/bandwidth!

For the OP though - If you pay for Soho you already have one of the better ways to watch it in full HD so just move the decoder. I would question as to why the MySky decoder wouldn't be on the main TV anyway?!

Neon seems to just be terrible - got a free trial with the new phone and have been using the Android app on a Galaxy Tab2 and a chromecast and the app is just the worst thing ever, crashes regularly and is just plain annoying to use.

Personally for me at home, my server is running nicely with Sickrage doing all the hard work for me and with Raspbery Pi's running on each tv with Kodi is how I will be watching Game of Thrones.

I switched from Spark to Vodafone for my broadband, home phone and cellphone last October and we got NEON free. I have had no issues with the NEON app on my iPad mini and it also Airplays seamlessly to my AppleTV connected to my 43" LED.

We watched GOT on Monday night (from 7.20pm) using the NEON app on the iPad, Airplay'd to the AppleTV and the quality was very good, probably HD (not full HD) and no drop-outs or lag or crashes, whatsoever. Not trying to get into an Android v Apple war, but the Apple app works very well.

I use Neon, had no issues and find it is added pretty quick. They are working on rolling out HD, it is top of their upgrades but when, who knows.

Nope, it was not HD. Neon is SD only.

Are all episodes of GOT Season 6 available on Neon or just the most recent one?
