Quality looks ok, but fairly high cpu usage on both browsers running full screen (1920x1080) - boy I miss the experience of using my roku.

But thought I'd look at lightbox again glen the recent spark announcement and that suits is on there. Which Ve not seem.

Machine is an and a6 gigabyte brix with 2gb ram. Dedicated htpc. Any guidance?

Which AMD a-series?

Try forcing hardware acceleration in Chrome if not enabled.

My Sig says A8 - so I'm assuming I have that right.  Ahh found it.  AMD A8-5545M

Now I know Its pretty good playing Freeview HD via network or streaming from ITV or Sky Go via chrome.  Was surprised lightbox had issues.  Unless it's a higher bitrate....I couldnt' see how to reduce it to fix the stutter.

I'll have a look for the hardware acceleration in chrome. - Yes that's on.

Man I wish there was a native Windows 10 App, or kodi, or roku

Hmm good point, its a AMD Radeon HD 8510G.  And the driver is 4/11/2015.  So yes I suspect there might be newer drivers.

I'll have a go at upgrading that.

So tried lightbox again tonight, still real bad. By comparison went to YouTube, forced 1080p and played a video. Was fine. Not stuttering at all.

That's unfortunate. I would have thought that machine is capable but maybe it is lack of chip level graphics on that cpu. There may be a bit more investigation possible with chrome but not much.

Try a support call to Lightbox?

I've actually bought a Chromecast. As much as I hate no remotes, the quality for lb is good, and it's a better experience than keyboard/mouse.

Yeah,. Seems to work well. And quality is pretty good also.

Had a quick look when pc was stuttering, cpu was 72-90%
