I want to do a two room install and have HDMI and component cables in place.

But I need to confirm after the recent software updates if the MySky component feed has been canned. I understand it may have been clipped leaving MySky as HDMI only.

I assume it all part of the analog sunset

Can anyone confirm MySky HDMI and Component are both still functioning simultaneously?

I can confirm it still works as I have my Slingbox connected to component out.

Thanks - I have Slingbox too, which is how I was going to do the install in room 3...(via WDTV)

When changing the video output setting, make sure to "preview" the changes (yellow button i think) otherwise it wont save (I know... right)

Is component sent simultaneous with HDMI? Or is it one OR the other...but not both at the same time.

It has to be the same time as we can be watching in the lounge via HDMI and receiving in the bedroom via component.

Until mine was disconnected last week also working using both. HDMI to some tv and component to a back-feed for all tvs in house. Luckily now have same working on Vaodafone TV over fibre. Yay for saving $70 a month,
