According to the NBR this also includes the streaming rights. http://www.nbr.co.nz/article/sky-wins-rugby-league-rights-ca-188583

 

Only last year Throng were saying Sky was struggling to retain the rights.  http://www.throng.co.nz/2015/09/sky-set-to-lose-nrl-rights/.  One can see why Throng folded.  Not a clue.  Missed Weldons demise too.

 Throng had a very biased view against SKY, most posts about SKY were directed in a negative light. Good for SKY to retain NRL rights - I don't see them fit onto FTA TV or another provider.

Does 9Now stream NRL games too? Livestream uses 9's broadcast anyway.

I use a Roku stick with DNS4Me to stream Channel 9 and Livestream.  Also have channel 7 setup on that as well
