Seeing as Lightbox seem to be pretty responsive on this forum, I wanted to put it out there as both a suggestion and a question:
When will you offer closed captioning?
Netflix has this, as does traditional TV, as does Sky.

Isnt closed captioning in NZ paid by NZOnAir?
I imagine that if NZOnAir would pay for Lightbox to add it to their programs then Lightbox would be all in.
And heres a bit more colour: https://nzcaptions.wordpress.com

gzt: Captions are available for most of the content so i see no need for nzoa to pay for it.
I have a habit of watching with the sound low and captions on while doing other things.
I would use Lightbox more with this feature. I'm not using Lightbox as much as I would like to.
Whether the content is supplied with captions ex-distributor or whether they are added by Able (the closed captioning company) after they arrive in NZ would be the key question.
It appears, and I dont know whether it be true or not, that its the latter - hence NZOA paying for it. Only 24% of programs get CC'd in NZ. There was complaints that the Cricket World Cup didnt get captioned. Or any other live sport in NZ. But it is captioned in Australia (by law) for example.

I am a bit surprised it isn't a requirement in NZ, like I believe it is in some other countries.
