So as I am writing this I am on hold and waiting for the disconnection team who are really really busy at the moment or so I have been told by the first person I talked to. Not surprised they are busy to be honest.

Its been great sky however you have not listened to your viewers in regards to a lot of stuff including your ridiculous price, in fact you are even putting it up, what the hell ??.

Anyway see ya won't be missing you a bit laughing

EDIT. The cancellation team are so busy they have to ring me back hmmm, I have made sure a note was made from my initial contact that the 28 days applies from today tongue-out

Would you consider waiting 3 months then grabbing the $50/$60 deal?

Imagine how it would be if everyone started a thread every time they discontinued using a service/product.

It would be informative on their reasons for doing so. smile

The Sky Deals thread details it more.

Basically what I'm paying for (And lots of others too) is Sky Sports, Basic, HD Ticket and My Sky BOX for $50, another $10 per month and you can get movies too.

Yup had been but only because there was nothing really else to go to. I have just been to lazy to get of my arse and do something about it now we so many more cheaper options.

I would move if.....

A. There were viable alternatives that offered the range of choice that Sky offers.

B. The alternatives did not involve messing around with streaming from this device or streaming from that device just to get it on our TV's

C. The NZ alternative, that is Lightbox offered reasonable device support. An the other NZ alternative Quickflix offered their whole library on the subscription and dropped the Premium content nonsense.

Sky's FB page is blowing up right now, this post has 5.8K likes and close to 600 comments, none complimentary as you'd expect :-)
