Hi,

Just starting using Lightbox on PS3, and note that my TV says it is 720p. Does the Lightbox app for PS3 not support 1080p? Is Lightbox 1080p on any devices?

Thanks

@GeorgefromLightbox can you comment in this? Should I be getting 1080p from the PS3 app, or will it only do 720p? If the latter, are there plans to make it 1080p?

Hey @Paul1977 - can you PM me the email address you use to login to watch Lightbox please?

The PS3 does output 1080p, but some (older) content is 720p...so it may depend on either your connection quality and/or what you were trying to watch.

Hey @Paul1977

I've done some digging, and can confirm that - whilst the PS3 can indeed do 1080p - the Lightbox app outputs at 720p.

Will keep an ear out for future developments r.e doing 1080p ...

I figured that must have been the case, but just couldn't find any info about it.

If you could pass this to the appropriate department as a feature request would be great.

Thanks again.

So, at 720p, how much data per hour would Lightbox use? Asking as I only have 80gb per month but connection is 50mbps. I would be watching on a PS3.

If their usage is similar to Netflix, expect ~700MB/Hr for 720p content.
