Hi Folks

Got the new version of Lightbox, 1.1.9, for my android phone, which i use primarily to cast to my Chromecast.

Minor niggle: I see one of the new features is to Autoplay the next episode. Which i am sure is nice for people who watch compulsively.

But because i have put my phone down, and it locks, by the time i unlock it and access the controls, it is already playing the next episode. Which means the next time I open it up, it skips to the next next episode.

I can't obviously see any settings to toggle this on/off. Admittedly, I have not looked at the browser version yet, so there may be a universal setting, but I was under the impression it was device-by-device.

Is anyone able to advise a solution for this?

I sent them an email complaining about the same thing on apple.

Their reply back indicated they weren't interested in fixing it or giving people the option of turning auto play off in settings.

So if you don't hit stop on phone before end credits finish, next time go to play like you said it jumps past an unwatched episode, don't know why they think auto play is such a good thing.

I am all for streamlined interfaces and controls, but having no option seems a little on the nose. Seems like it is a direct copy of a 'netflix-type' feature, so guess it must be viewed as desirable...

It is hardly a show-stopper, but a bit disappointing, especially if you lose track of what was the last episode you actually watched and it effectively skips you ahead.

Pity a better job of copying this feature wasn't done. Netflix allows you to disable autoplay of the next episode.
