I am watching a recording of last nights The Walking Dead. The picture quality is awful at times yet other recordings seem fine. Is anyone else experiencing the same.

I watched TWD earlier today - also off a MySky.

Did not note any picture quality issues.  I recall this cos I thought about complaining to TVNZ that the Duke promo for sports is false advertising.  Looks great as a promo in HD in the ad's on TV2 but the actual sport is woeful quality on Duke.  Thought that it had to be a case for false advertising so I'm thinking the picture quality of the recorded content must've been just fine.

Did you record TVNZ 2 +1 instead of TVNZ 2?

I actually posted about this on Facebook last night. I only have this happen with Walking Dead and its every blinking week, noticed it last season too. Even the ads during TWD are fine.

Photos as proof.

What MySky device do you have? We have the latest one, not sure if thats the cause.

Its every week - only notice it on TWD. Ads during TWD are fine.

Hi well that explains the overall soft grainy picture. How ever it doesn't explain the picture getting worse at other times and as someone suggests earlier the adds are perfect.

I'm experiencing exactly the same issue.  I record it on MySky.  Is it just a Sky feed issue, or does it happen on Freeview also?

I'm getting the slight pixillation/tearing of the picture occasionally, doesn't happen on any other programs recorded or live, or even in the ad breaks.  So it's not our equipment.
