I'm after a HDMI splitter so I can broadcast the MySkyHDi signal to two TVs.

Does the HDCP need to be any specific version in order to operate correctly? Some splitters I've come across are 1.2.

Any issues here?

I gave a friend one of my dirt cheap aliexpress ones that strips off HDCP and it works fine with the old larger mysky boxes.

I just ordered an orei one from amazon, which arrived a few days ago:

"OREI HD-104 1x4 4 Ports HDMI Powered Splitter for Full HD 1080P & 3D Support (One Input To Four Outputs)"

to do exactly that from mysky hdi. I split it out to three TV's and one projector and it works fine.

I haven't come across any hdcp issues.

The power supply is multivoltage too, but you will need and adapter from us to nz plugs.

The orei box is identical to a panlong one that I also have. Same box, different logos on each.

Cheers,

Mike.

Thanks for that. I'm now thinking about getting a 4x2 Matrix Switch instead. Something like this.
