Hey there,

Decided I would check out Lightbox last night so signed up to the 30 day trial.

My first impression has unfortunately not been good. I sat down with my laptop and opened the latest version of Chrome and started playing 30 Rock... only to immediately find the playback so choppy it was un-watchable.

I then tried the latest Firefox and although it was just slightly better, it was still hitching every 10-15 seconds and there were really weird volume issues (it went loud, then quiet then loud again).

Finally I tried IE11 (shudder) and it was just slightly better than firefox, but still frequently hitching in places.

Are there issues with on Lightbox with all browsers at the moment? I'm on a Fibre connection and both Netflix and Neon were streaming flawlessly.

Details:

  • Win 7 OS
  • Vodafone Fibre connection (Wi-fi - but at the same time Netflix and Neon were flawless).
  • Latest version of Silverlight installed

Thanks I did see that thread but the OP had a Samsung TV - so I thought I would avoid hijacking that thread and create a new browser-focused one.

Lightbox seems to simply be flaky across several platforms.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
