When did Sky start charging $40 for multiroom with MySky?

I shouldn't really be surprised considering HD is still being charged for in 2017.

Multiroom $25.  Second MySky (ie with recording capability) $15.

Its always been that way.  A basic decoder on multiroom was $25.  If you wanted the extra functionality - its the extra $15.

Doesnt the bill break it down by service?

you get the new my sky boxes for $25 a month , if you want to use the record function then that is an extra $15 a month but if you have multiroom then you dont have to pay the $15 for HD .

Common sense is not as common as you think.

As others have said, it has been that way for quite some time. $25 for the additional decoder, + $15 if you want to be able to record. Multiroom customers get HD for free... (on the small number of channels it is offered, and at quite a low bitrate)
