Hey all,

My father just subscribed to Netflix and wants to start to save some money on his sky account is it easiest to just call sky and ask for the cheapest plan with rugby/sport? Or is there a particular plan he should ask for about what should he expect to be paying out of interest. I am no good here as I can't stand rugby so never did ant research into it.

Thanks,
E

On another thread (my tea is almost ready, no time to look) there is an 0800 number that would give you (assuming its still in place) Basic, Sport , HD ticket, MySky ) for $50 per month for 12 months. You can cancel after I think 11 months, drop the My Sky back, wait 30 days, then do it again.

Sorry yes I think I had seen this one before bug I thought it might only be for new subscriptions what does he have to do with his existing account before claiming this sorry.

Thank you.

You just need to ring up sky and cancel your subscription. At the end of the 30 day notice period you take your sky box back to them. You then need to wait 30 days without sky and at the end of the 30 days ring the 0800 number and tell them you want to join and ask what deals they have going. It worked fine for me.
