Hi team,


 


As above I am looking for an all in one box with recording that has the ability to take a mysky card. I just took note of my bill which includes 3 decoders for which I pay $15 per box to enable the recording function. If I could save $45 per month on the 3 boxes I would be stoked! I have seen some alternative boxes but they all seem to be related to RV / Caravan scenarios and don't offer recording or online content.

the Vu solo2 will do what your sky box and a little more, eg kodi and some other add ons

I assume it is against SkyTV's Ts and Cs to plug their Sky Card into an unofficial box.

Both , there is a seller here in NZ and can get out of Europe through Ebay

Its a valid subscription with a Mysky box, just card is read in a card reader, and its easier to use too boot

Correct the card goes back with the decoder, if you could just have the card and no decoder it could be a option for some.

You keep the decoder. Just don't pay the $15 for record, that's the benefit.
As other ones record without the fee.
