I thought I would start a thread about features people would like to see in Lightbox.

It would be great if Lightbox could develop the Skip Recap and Skip Intro features available in Netflix.

They are handy features to have when binge watching a series.

FF'ing credits with a tiny slider on a smart phone touch screen is far from effective.

the number 1 feature that would get this household using lightbox - subtitles - should be law that they do them, but it not, so we will most like never see it, so Netflix it is, as they are operating in countries that have to do it due to law.

DD 5.1 and/or DTS sound as an option would be awesome.

I'm running the AndroidTV APK on a FireTV which would support 5.1 audio.

Ditto for subtitles. My wife is a non-native English speaker, and they help her with catching a lot of text. And I tend to like having them as well for mumbled speech that I can't catch.

Being able to turn off auto play for next program in series, a pain in the neck that one.

And plus one for DD5.1 which NO New Zealand company seems to provide for some reason. With streaming only Apple and Netflix seem to do it, don't know why it's so hard for others.

I'd love to be able to use the Edge browser on my Xbox to play over HTML5 - saves the need for a separate app and should be an easy quick win for Xbox compatibility?

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Did you have to do anything special to get it working on the FireTV?

I sideloaded version 1.0.1 and it loads OK but I can't get anything to play. It says to try again later.

An official Android TV app, to make it easier to get it onto the TV using streaming boxes such as the nVidia Shield.

No issue with the AndroidTV APK on FireTV. Make sure you're logged in correctly, might be worth clearing the cache and starting again.

Also if you've got any Geo unblock tools check your settings.

Auto play would be my favorite hate.

Maybe offer some Linear TV Channels as well as the usual on-demand content? esp if their parent (Spark) are looking into RWC rights
