So, I found this episode a little bit of a letdown. I kind of expected a *lot* more fireworks and a much more profound death.

I am unsure what they have planned for next season, they didn't really introduce a new bad guy/gal so much as a preface for a civil war. Not sure how they expect that to end? Surely Maggie isn't going to kill Rick. Surely they would just democratically evict him as leader or expel him. Doesn't seem like Rick would put up that much of a fight if the majority didn't want him.

Anyone know what the meaning of the note left for the guy with the wrecked face was? Is his girl still alive? I'd assume so? I've lost track of why Daryl was so mad at him?

In a lot of ways it felt more like a series finale than a season one. A lot of loose ends got tied up.

I knew Eugine was going to double cross Neagan but when it happened, I didn't know what happened. It looked like they got took out by a .50 CAL, I wondered if Anne had taken them out.

What's the deal with Morgan? I have lost track of his story (or never understood it to begin with).

I enjoyed it as it closed the Negan arc, with him as the main protagonist. I've not read all the comics but broadly know the story and Negan still has a big role to play, so we probably haven't seen the last of him. There's lots of speculation the villains for next season were teased as the group stopped and observed that massive herd. It has something to do with a line of wooden posts they walked past.....

It took me a while to figure out what happened when the guns 'exploded', I thought snipers took them out!

Morgan? I know where he's going and now hes at the dump he has the means of getting there.

You're right that it felt like the whole series could wrap up there but I'm excited by next season as I was over the Saviours arc.

Isn't Daryl mad cos Dwight stole his bike?

I have enjoyed Neagan a lot. He's a Kiwi too!

I did enjoy this season, maybe more than others of recent times. I was surprised Carl died, but they hadn't lost anyone significant for a while.

Is the next season the last?

You sure about that? Wikipedia says he's born in Seattle, Washington.

Watch the latest series opener for 'Fear the Walking Dead' if you want more on what Morgan is up to.

I’m interested to see what happens with the surviving garbage lady, up I’m pretty sure she is someone else in the comics if I remember correctly.

I don't think they have a definitive end date. As long as the comics keep going there's material for the show, I guess the ratings will drive it.

"The walking dead" is losing its appeal for me. There are no mysteries to be solved or end goal other than survival.

The whole Negan story was mostly tedious and uninteresting.

I would like to see the story play out with a view to an end. Maybe with the main characters discovering the source of the zombie outbreak and the hope of a possible cure. Otherwise there is only death and despair to look forward to.

So many shows grind out season after season and eventually fizzle out . 'Lost' was a good example of this.
