Every evening (and now at lunchtime) our Sky TV abruptly stops and a "Please wait Initialising" message appears on the screen.

This is damn annoying.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Ring Sky and complian. They'll probably replace the box.

Our Box was doing this and also freezing when browsing the planner. It got more and more frequent. I logged a fault online and it was replaced in less than 24 hours.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I guess this is even more reason for me to pull finger and install the VF boxes that have been sitting in my lounge for months 😀

Geez, they don’t charge to replace box, they don’t last forever.

Why would you have VF box’s and Sky, paying for a service not using.

If you have got them there miles well fire them up and see which one prefer.

We have our landline and fibre through VF as well as our Sky subscription.

They provided us with a couple of boxes, but I never got around to installing them due to the unwatched programmes we had recorded on the Sky box.
