if you go to skytv.co.nz and click on getsky then just choose which options you want and when you get to the 'personal details' section it asks you to enter the name and contact details of your nearest relative or friend. it says it is a required field. why on earth do you need to enter your friends contact details?

by the way, when you get the newest sky decoder(not mysky), does it still have audio/visual inputs for older tvs that don't have scart or hdmi inputs?

It will be a credit thing.  They do this so they have a better chance of finding you if you don't pay the bill and then hide from them.

Yeah, just credit guarantor basically. Although what theyd hope to get out of that bankrupt Uncle who lives in Sydney under an assumed name, who knows.....  Tongue out

As for the decoder, Id say they will still have the standard RCA - not everyone has gone HDMI yet :)

the bigger question is, why do you care? if you plan on not paying the bill, then dont get sky, and if you do plan on paying it they will not need it unless theres a desperate reason to get hold of you...
