...well for me me it is anyway.

I woke up this morning to the Rain fade page and it was still like that when I got home from work. After talking with sky and unplugging the power etc They're sending somebody out on Thursday, maybe Friday at the latest. What a joke, for what I pay sky a month I have to go without SKY for 2-3 days... disgusting service.

I'm still puzzled why it's not going either, it was fine last night before I went to bed.

2-3 days is a pretty standard timeframe to get faults fixed with companies these days!! You can't really expect them to drop what they are doing and race out to fix your fault immediately. 

i've had to wait much longer in the past to get phone faults fixed!  You might just have to stick with Coronation St on TV 1 for a couple of days :)

how is that disgusting service?   2-3 days is pretty good IMO for booking a guy to come out to your house.  It's not like it is some vital service like electicity or water.   I'ts TV for gods sake.  get over it.

You could try asking for a credit for the days you are without sky, but it depends if the fault is because they farked up or just wear and tear on the equipment.

LOL, it must be frustrating but it's hardly the end of the world is it? It took 3 weeks for Telecom to fix my broadband problems but my family and I survived. LaughingIf it turns out to be nothing to do with your set-up then I would ask for a credit if I was you.

Can you confirm that its for all channels?  I had an issue where the dish went slightly out of alignment and I lost HD channels but not other channels. And when it rained I lost the lot.

If this is the case then you can ask a CSR to remap your HD channels to SD until the tech comes.
But apparently you should also try changing the sat feed from input 1 to input 2 and doing a reset.  It didnt make any difference to me but the CSR walked me through that one too.

Finally can you go into the signal test page and report signal strengths???  Word has it that the "rain fade" message is somewhat..... generic.
