Have been at my Dad's today. He has MySky hooked up through a Bose Lifestyle system. The MySky box has started crashing and rebooting itself (at least 4 times over 3 hours) and the Bose system has packed up with an "801 Fault Call Bose" error and no response from the controls on the front panel (the remote works fine). Anyone seen this before? Not sure if the MySky has caused the Bose to fault or vice versa. I don't believe it is simply chance that they both die on the same day. When I first went into the "Guide" section of MySky there was an error, but following the instructions in the MySky book ("do these before calling tech support") a soft reboot (the select button and return button on the front panel) it seemed to come right. My Dad has had MySky for ages but has never used the Guide/record/playback features before. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Update: After looking at several options and alot of surfing for info, tried powering off all equipment at the wall, left for 15 mins. Powered back on and what do you know? It is all working! (For the moment at least anyway).
