My team has been promoted to EPL and all games are on Sky. I would like to watch
the games but the cost of $450 for the season is out of my reach. I prefer to watch on catch up at
a reasonable hour, does anyone know if this can be done? I dont mind paying but not what Sky want for live coverage.
Thanks.

If you're only interested in following your team in the EPL (and not the broader sports offered by a sky sub) check out BeIN Sports.

I understand that they have the rights for the NZ market which they sub license to Sky Sports. You get access to a few other leagues too.

Currently $130 for an annual sub.

Actually, apologies, disregard my earlier post - looks like they don't have the EPL on there.. Just the EFL and the European cup comps...

EPL is only on Sky so your only NZ options are to get either Sky with Sport, or Sky Sport Now streaming. There may be other overseas based streaming options you could access via VPN etc but others will be better places to advise on that.

In NZ, Sky paid a fortune for the EPL rights, so you're unfortunately stuck with them and their pricing.

The thing that sticks in my throat with Sky is that they won't decouple their sport at a reasonable price, so you either pay for Sky Sport Now which is a pretty crappy experience and about $45 a month or you get Sky TV Basic plus Sport which ends up costing you $64.00 a month.

Happily, my team was relegated, so I get to pay $12.99 per month (then after 6 months, $14.99 per month) for beIN Sport to watch the Championship, Champions League and a bunch of other foreign leagues, plus some weird fringe sports, to boot.

Once the Womens World Cup is over I am actually ditching Sky TV altogether

He’s a true Saints supporter just like myself.  It comes with the territory.
