Just thought i'd let people know about my recent Sky install, as this is information I was searching for before I requested the install.

Standard SKY (not MySky or HD).

Bare minimum install, nothing extra requested. Although we did ask for a wall plate... (unlikely)

Came with;
Silver slimline unit.
SKART > Component (blue cables).
2xCoax cables from dual throat LNB, one terminated, one capped in black rubber.

TV programmed, component source renamed to Satellite.
1 telephone socket, BT installed. 2x coax straight through wall hugging bottom of telephone socket.
About 2.5m of 2xcoax from wall.
About 1m of 2xcoax wrapped up behind the dish packed into the mount.

that sounds like a standard install, it very much depends on the technician (and the company they work for)
as to whether they use a wallplate or hide the cables under the BT, even if a wallplate is used it wont have plugs just a point for the cable to pass through
