In the system setup I have changed all the ratings to the tick, But I still get asked all the time to enter the pin. Even when the show starts again after an ad break.

How can I fix this

Yeah I'd be interested in finding out how to fix this too. Although I imagine we may be required to wait for a future firmware/software update on the box

if the program is on before the so called adult viewing time you (8.00 pm?) you will be asked for your pin no matter what your settings are ,i find it annoying but i think they are bound by broadcasting standards even on sky, basically they are covering there butts from anyone complaining to the commission that they saw nudity or heard strong language before 8.00pm,

Common sense is not as common as you think.

indeed, watching Girls of the Playboy Mansion at 2pm or something will require a PIN no matter what your settings are.

As long as don't change channels etc it should only ask for pin once, not after every add break.

the pace 230's do it as well, as well at the TCL decoders - is really annoying if you have a pvr hooked to it....pvr's don't know how to enter inthe PIN!!!

How does the HDi handle recording programs that require a pin? Im sure you never use'd to need to enter it if you set the perental controls higher (like R18 or higher)

I'm guessing that since it's not displaying it just records it - no pin required (it's not like my device when it has to be decoded to be recorded).  MySky records encoded and decodes to watch.

So a further guess it that it looks at the rating on watching and asks at that point for the pin.  WOuld be interested to hear what a mysky owner says as its not something I've thought about before.

Yep it records it fine without asking for a pin, but when you go to watch a restricted recording it then asks for your pin to entered to be viewed.
