My elderly father is having issues with his new Sky Box.  Sounds like pixelation and possible rain fade.

I just had a look in the Diagnostic section and under Signal and Tuner Status I can see a Signal Quality of 8.2dB and a small blue line.

The old boxes had Quality and Strength as a percentage.  Can anyone tell me what a good dB should be for Signal Quality on the new Sky Box?

Thanks

I have 13.4 dB through a splitter.

Roughly between 13 and 14.5 DB. His dish is either out of alignment or his lnb is faulty.

I have about 14db signal level on my box, although it does vary between about 13.8 to 14.4db as I watch.

It is a communal dish and I am unaware of how many users. I am located in a nursing home
