hey i just got my sky hd installed at my place with the hd ticket and oh boy it looks so good. also had my old decoder installed in my room for multiroom. free for 4 months. the technician installed it via av. but wat i want to do is hook the multiroom to my home theatre then run hdmi cable from there to my tv to get the 1080p upscaling. i have tired this. can hear the sound thru the home theatre but no picture. im assuming we'll have to put on the aux mode to watch it?

Nope, just plug it in to the AVR like any other source component. Sounds like you haven't assigned the input properly in the AVR.
