New sky box lnb power issue

Not receiving signal from satellite, however when I check the voltage on the cable it is reading 0. If you then turn on and off the lnb power I get a reading on the meter but then it drops off the length of time it takes to drop off varies. Anybody seen this before?

Which Skybox , is it the Black Kaon one? or the flakey whiote one? You can check the signal on the Kaon by pressing the AV button on the Sky remote. (it can take a few seconds to appear)

It is the new white one. I can get power and a signal for a short period sometimes then it drops out
