I hate the monopolistic way Sky acts and treats customers like crap.

However I have to take my hat off to them. I have has a problem with my Mysky box (original not HDi) and as I also have a HDi box had been putting off calling Sky for about 3 weeks because I couldnt face talking to them. However at about 15:00 yesterday I bit the bullet and called. After explaining the problem to 2 different people they decided to send a technician. He arrived within the hour. I am flabergasted, same day service. Geat going Sky, keep it up.

The Hard Disk in our MySky (original version) unit crashed last Wednesday.  It is the only problem we have ever had with the unit since it was installed in Jan 06.

It took 5 days until the tech. was able to visit, but when he arrived, I saw why:  Sky have supplied a brand new unit to us, and I guess it needed to be couriered from Auckland to the Bay of Islands, then we had to wait for a free time slot in the technician's schedule.

The lady at Sky who took my call was very helpful and did warn me about this delay, but it wasn't too serious as we were still able to watch live TV in the meantime, just not Play or Record.

All in all, I can't complain about the service.  Goodonya Sky Smile

i find in general Sky's customer service is above average, for such a large corporate their responses and feedback is in general quite good.
