Hi, my Neon service has started to pixelate

Im on Quic Fibre 500 and cable connected to TP-Link router.

Currently getting >500mbs download.
No other users in house.

https://youtube.com/shorts/zJl1weluKdA?si=EsR7n8Yi_MWoxR3N

Happens about every 30s

Any suggestions on how I start to diagnose where the issue is.

Im on DNS4ME dns servers.

Peter

Looking at your video, seems to be more a video decoding issue rather than a broadband issue IMHO. It's not really pixelated, it's struggling to decode the video for some reason but the underlying stream sems OK -- am I right in assuming the audio plays fine? May be worth checking the Neon software is up to date and also whatever it's running on (the TV I assume) should have its OS updated too. Might just be a old video decoder with bugs that hopefully has a fix in a more recent version.

Does it happen to only this title, some, many or all titles?

Thx, it’s a new Samsung tv, all up to date with sw.
the issues seem to have appeared after switching to quic.

When I turn off dns4me servers, there doesn’t seem to be any issues.

Raised a ticket with dns4me, they suggested I tick and untick neon and tvnz+ and restart. They have seen some conflict with dns4me and quic…

I’ve now got the tvnz+ and neon service ticked for nz servers, seems to be working now. Will reserve judgment for a while yet.
