The times are generally GMT. You may have noticed that NZST is 12 hours ahead of this.

Think it's been delayed until Sunday May 17 due to internal setup problems at Sky News Australia

I'm guessing Sky NZ has to make a few changes on this end as they put the ".co.nz" logo over top of the Australian one

Wooppie do. With a 16x9 screen they can put even more crappy red and white logos on the screen

Sky NZ are now broadcasting this channel in 16x9 but its pillar boxed, I assume they have not flicked it to wide screen in australia yet?

It is wide screen now. The news is pillar boxed, but saw sky movies advertised and the hdi box and they were all in wide screen.

Just waiting for the news to end and more adverts to come on, so I can enjoy some more wide screen lol.

Yeah thats what I mean, Sky NZ are transmitting this channel in 16x9 and inserting ads at full size, but the Australian end still looks like its running 4x3, eg the banner on the bottom of the screen doesn't reach to both sides of the screen

Yup, it's this :

Kiwi Pete: Think it's been delayed until Sunday May 17 due to internal setup problems at Sky News Australia

As per MediaSpy.org site.

Despite the best intentions, changing over th 16x9 means a LOT of ducks need to be lined up in a row, but's it's funny just how many little things get forgotten.

Prime news wide screen now to. Guess they didn't want postage stamp effect when replayed on old sky news.

+1 for discovery wide screen and other doco channels as well. Plenty of content looks like it's sourced in wide screen. i.e. postage stamped.

+1 for discovery, and history and living (WAF) which are also postage stamped. And Cartoon Network (for the kids). Even my kids notice that they can watch Star Wars Clone Wars in widescreen on TV3 (and upscaled) at the same time as Sky broadcast it in alley-vision.
