I read it as June 1 also, with TVNZ 6 and 7 joining Sky 1 month later (in SD)

Sky have updated some of the DVB data to map all of the SD channels off the TVNZ freeview transponder, but that hasn't been added to the STB line up yet.

They don't appear to have added any information on additional HD channels yet.

From TVNZ website.

The agreement provides for HD versions of TV ONE and TV2 to be available to MYSKYHDi viewers from 1st June, for TVNZ 6 and 7 to be available to all SKY viewers from 1st July.

I recieved a letter about the fee increase and at the bottom it said.

PS - From July SKY digital subscribers will be able to access TVNZ 6 and TVNZ 7 on SKY.
MY SKY HDi subscribers will also be able to recieve TV One and TV2 HD transmissions.

I see there is no 1st June date noted

I aim to misbehave.

Notice how some programmes on both TV1 and 2 are proudly displaying the "HD" logo at the beginning of the screening.

They have had an HD after their channel logo when airing HD programming on DTT for months.

I meant on the programme itself - ie Cold Case last night

All the broadcasters have inserted HD logos at the start of programmes or after adbreaks in the lower corner of the screen since they started broadcasting.
Australia, likewise, has been doing the same since HD broadcasts began although more generally "HD where available"
It will appear regardless of whether you can see the signal in HD or not.  ie on analogue terrestrial, Sky/Freeview satellite or DTT.  Its more "advertising" that the programme is available in HD.
Cold Case has been HD for a while (as has Criminal Minds) on TV1.

It has probably been there all the time - I have only just consciously started to notice it now that I have MySky.

Be nice if TV3 did what TVNZ has done with the HD after the logo when broadcasting a proper HD program. On a normal 4:3 analogue broadcast the HD part of the logo is cut off.

Is this because you cant get Sky HDi (sic) or due to your television set?

The analogue feed uses the same DOG as the SD freeview feed which doesn't specify a HD broadcast. You will only see the HD logo on freeview|HD or MySkyHDi when a HD native show is broadcast on 3.

Na its because I don't want to buy a HDi and cannot get FreeviewHD where I live :)
