There are a few functions on the SKY remote that dont seem to work or are hard to find. Mine are...

- In the GUIDE you can use channel up/down to go a page at a time.

- In the GUIDE when you have sorted A-Z the number buttons take you straight to a letter of the alphabet. For example when you press '5' a 'J' appears at its takes you to the programs starting with J

- I have never seen the point of the PLAYLIST, does anyone use it and can tell me what it is for?

I would like it if you could sort by channel & the other coulumn headings

Has anyone else got any?

Playlist allows you setup recorded shows in sequence to watch. You just start the playlist and recordings play one after the other. Useful on a wet afternoon so the kids can watch a series without constantly having to start the next recording.

Did you know if you hold down the fast forward or rewind button for a few seconds it takes you to the start or end of the recording?

very annoying when you do it accidentally and don't remember how far through a 3 hour movie you were.

It is also REALLY annoying when you push yellow to delete and it delets two programs instead of one. I always 'keep' then delete to stop this.

I have a Logitech remote which I suspect may make it worse, but I have done it with the SKY remote also. Ohhh for an undo button!

that is my one big gripe with Sky's planner is that it gives you no warning when you delete programs push the yellow button on the wrong program or by mistake and ,bam, you lose the program you have been waiting for days to watch, how hard is it to put a warning in

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Yeah, it's just easier to push the blue button and keep the program then you ( or the kids ) can't accidently delete it, learnt that two years ago the hard way.
