I'm guessing the answer to this question is a resoundning no - but - is there any way to get UK Sky here in New Zealand? I can get my hands on a UK Sky+ box so Iwas wondering if there was any way to recieve the UK programming.

Unless Sky UK do some sort of internet streaming or they up the satellite signal strength to penetrate several thousand miles of earth then I think you are correct with the 'no'.
I am not aware of any satellite on this side of the world that carries their signal. They would possibly run into broadcast rights issues if they tried.

The only things that spring to mind as the BBC's iPlayer, but that's not Sky as such, or else getting someone to load up a hard drive full of programs from the UK and post it to you....

Even BBC's iPlayer will not work, if we are talking about the same thing, as it is based on IP address.
There are a few sites out there that stream UK based TV channels. If you are happy with low quality youtube like feeds?
