I have had MySkyHDi for several month now and quite enjoying it. However is it me, or is the MySkyHDi less tolerant of poor atmospheric conditions?
With the standard Pace digital decoder, every now and then, in particularly nasty weather, the signal would drop out. No biggie. However the MySkyHDi unit seems to do it more frequently and in weather that normally wouldn't bother the old Pace decoder at all.
now and again i get that message about rain and atmospheric conditions when its bright sunshine outside but it was on channels broadcast out of Australia so i always thought the troubles were in Australia
At one stage I had issues whereby I could see the SD channels but every HD channel I tried to watch gave the "atmospheric conditions" error message. I found out that the dish was slightly out of alignment - when a technican re-aligned the dish my issues disappeared completely.
