Anyone noticed, that when you select a recorded show from the recorded program list, sometimes the description is wrong?

Eg, Police 10-7 is recorded, then , when I select that, it comes up with the correct title, but the description might describe Fear factor (for example).

Also, why doesn't the online program booking allow persistent logons from the same pc.   Fatso allows this, but each time i acess the sky site i must sign on again.   Completely unnecessary, probably just sloppy on skys behalf, but they are a pretty sloppy company.

Also, the sky channels need a decent refresh. I believe foxtel are revamping their lineup.

yeah I get the wrong descriptions sometimes too. I've only noticed it on things that have been recorded for a while - 6-8 weeks ago. Lethal Weapon was the one most recently. IT had a description for some kiddies show.

Stuff recorded in the last week tends to be right.
that might just be a coincidence though.

Same here.... It does tend to be the older stuff with mine too.... I haven't found a fix for it.

MySKY is set up to look for updated synopses after recording, which makes sense if you want to correct a mistake. It doesn't make so much sense if the broadcaster re-uses the programme's unique ID after a few weeks: that leads to your recording picking up a whole new synopsis from an unrelated programme. SKY are looking at changing the functionality so the synopsis is never updated after recording, which may lead to more spelling mistakes, but will stop the problem of completely unrelated information coming up.

Ah!!!! I assumed stuff was getting scrambled on the drive but that makes perfect sense now!

Manaia, I see the mysky classic (silver) got updated last night. Were there any fixes other than power management?

Cheers, Matt.
