Maybe the Tivo competition is causing Sky to hurry its plans along. Remember that Sky has been negotiating with the movie companies for a while now for 'internet' distribution rights for most of the movies it shows. Put this in the rumour bucket until the Vodafone/Sky announcement next week.

Personally I would rather the deal was with TelstraClear, but thats never going to happen given they have their own cable TV and PVR planned!!

would be nice if you could use remote record from a cellphone, like you can with Foxtel.
