Maybe the Tivo competition is causing Sky to hurry its plans along. Remember that Sky has been negotiating with the movie companies for a while now for 'internet' distribution rights for most of the movies it shows. Put this in the rumour bucket until the Vodafone/Sky announcement next week.

Personally I would rather the deal was with TelstraClear, but thats never going to happen given they have their own cable TV and PVR planned!!
