Is there a maximum distance to take the extra decoder away from the main installation, or is it standalone? For example, could I put it in another house on the same property, or a sleepout, or garage etc?

Both will be connected to the same dish. I'm pretty sure the Sky T&Cs refer to their equipment being at one address. You may have to be careful about multiple dwellings on one property (i.e. a complete building with its own kitchen, bathroom, etc) as opposed to a sleep-out. That may put it into the multi-user bracket (like apartments).

Is their any clarification available on how far can the second STB can be placed ? I would like to know this for a multi - dwelling family situation. Can they get this ? OR can one get it all setup one house and give it to their family on the same land but different house. Thanks
