Looks like the subscriber numbers are starting to get closer to the trigger for broadband downloads from Sky. I knew there was a reason for that ethernet connection behind my TV (apart from my PS3)!

Sky have been looking for an ISP willing to offer them a deal and unmetered downloads for quite some time. I guess their recent deal with Vodafone is the first step to offering a VOD service.

from today Vodafone are offering cheap upgrades to Mysky HD and you get the hd content free for Vodofone customers on certain plans so its coming

Are you sure you get the HD Ticket free on certain plans? The T&Cs on the link in your post say otherwise?
