Just a temp channel for Fonterra shareholders/farmers. Likely to report earnings (half yearly or whatever).

If you're

a) Not wearing Gumboots
b) Not concerned with Fonterra stocks

Then simply ignore it. :)

You obviously have a very narrow view of what's useful and what's not useful in this world.

Who says Sky are wasting bandwidth or space? There are over 10000 dairy farms in New Zealand and also countless other Fonterra shareholders who would consider the telecast of their earnings results as probably the most important piece of TV viewing they'll do this week.

Fonterra pay for this content to be carried. Sky don't just carry Pay TV content, they also distribute content for other providers including the NZ Fire Service for example.

Yesterday I've watched half of the Fonterra documentary and found it somewhat interesting even though I an a city boy in Auckland. Our company has a relationship with Fonterra so I guess after 9 years I should start learning about the industry for which our company develop products... So at least one non-farmer in this country had some use out of the Fonterra channel.
