Hey guys, I have a few questions about sky multiroom as I am looking at getting it for the tv in my room.
Should I decide I want to just install freeview then how many days in advance do I have to give cancelation?
Do sky come grab the box or do I have to post it?
Say I get one of those silver pace ones on the bedroom tv and then cancel it. Do sky have a problem with me switching this with my black moterolla in the lounge as it would look better with that tv and its meant to be newer and better?
I did look at skys site before asking here but they didn't have answers to these questions. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't think any of it would be an issue. You would want to cancel Sky before the end of your billing period, and they will then de-activate the card in the multiroom decoder on the date you cancel (I assume they can do this instantly).

As for swapping out the decoder, I wouldn't think it would matter, it all goes on the card. If you swapped out decoders and cards (so long as the cards are the same revision in both decoders) you should be OK. But ask them anyway, I don't think they'll care if you'd rather have a silver decoder than a black one.

Keep the best remote too.

Hey thanks for the info. It got installed yesterday and ones a motorola and the new one is a silver pace so the remotes are in compatible as the motorola and pace remotes are a different shape and also frequency. I will most likely be keeping it for awhile and throwing a splitter on the cable or somthing to get freeview on the other bedrooms here. Anyone know what type of splitter I would need?

call Freeviewshop they will guide you on correct stuff to buy, their cust support is also very good.  Depending on your sky LNB it may be a 4 port lnb, the new ones sky are installing, if thats the case just run another cable from one of the ports, no need for a splitter. If you dont know what I mean, might be best to call a freeview installer, Freeview shop should know someone to put you onto, they will get it sorted as sky techs are not allowed to have anything todo with freeview.
