i know sky cant do anyting about this but they should at least put pressure on the broadcasters to at least use WS cameras!!

Yeah but they had IPL from india in HD though. Maybe the other countries are way behind or the feeds coming in via espn.

yeah, they can't do much about that. They are at the mercy of Ten Sports (host broadcaster).
Until the IPL pretty much all feeds from the sub continent were 4:3 SD
