Hi - apologies if this has been answered elsewhere - have searched without success so far.

Has anyone successfully upgraded their myskyhdi HDD? If so, what kind of allen key like tool is required?

I would probably be satisfied with disabling the On Demand function and using that assigned space if that was possible.

Anyone doing this is likely to keep it extremely quiet, it's not your box and if you mess it up and get caught expect to be dealing with a very unfriendly company called sky :)

Hi There

Since having myskyHdi installed 2 weeks ago been having the same problem with the upgrade channel 029 as it connected up ok but does not come up with the averable upgrades.

Called sky got me to reset box and every thing but not sure why I getting that message.

Comes up with the following messaage

The Modem works ok as able to use skybet and PVV events.

This only happens on mysky box as my other standard decoder upgrade channel works ok on that box.

Don't think you have the same error at all (he was talking about upgrading the exisitng Hard drive to get more recording capacity)
but anyway:

Called sky got me to reset box and every thing but not sure why I getting that message.

You wanted to use the upgrade channel, it gave you an error, so you called Sky to help you fix it - why didn't you just order the upgrade you wanted while on the phone with them?
