ground membership at eden park, a fatso subscription and the balance of the surplus cash saving from ditching sky became my happy places a while back...

F1 and EPL is my happy place,

As Sky are the only company broadcasting it, I stick with it.

The HD MySki box looks smart and has a lot of potential. If only they enabled the full functionality.

Come on Freeview lift the competition!!

Not worried about bit rate or HD, so Sky documentaries are my happy place. However Sky support for fixing STB issues is not my happy place. How many times do you have to report crashing/bugs/break-up before they will fix it? Investigating alternative STBs...

Yes - I would like more movies, more HD and also more HBO stuff but I am happy with what I have, bring on STB. V.O.D. via internet

I aim to misbehave.

scorpiworld: Come on Freeview lift the competition!!

Freeview is a free to air TV platform. Sky is a pay TV platform. Totally different product.

For me  MotoGP and A-League are the main reasons for keeping Sky.

Justin.tv and ustream are my happy places. Well they were Sunday morning for the rugby at 700kbit/s feed and this morning when Red Bull won the F1 at 1.2Mbit/s streaming a very good quality picture for $0.

Sorry that may have come across wrong, I see Freeview as the trigger for most of the recent improvements in Sky’s product offering to keep customers and avoid losing them to Freeview.

I was also coming from the angle I cant ignore the UK and see FTA channels showing various sports on the likes of BBC / ITV, they would have had to outbid Sky and won, so I should have said TVNZ lift the competition!

I understand the pay models aren’t exact, but shouldn’t mean it cant be done.
