I've put a Digitech HDMI splitter behind the MySky HDi box and run one connection to  my local AV amp and the 2nd connection to a Digitech Cat5/6 HDMI extender. This breaks out in the bedroom and feeds directly into a TV HDMI port. All seemed to be working sweet until I tried using the MySky HDi remote control. Some of the operations don't work. most noticeable when you access the EPG and can't use the undo key to back out! Turned off the extender and all works again although HDMI sync when the TV comes on seems a bit fragile. Anyone else seen this or understand what's happening? Picture and sound seem great in both locations when working but obviously I can't use it like this...

Thanks for any ideas.

I have a CYP component to Cat6 extender for the office tv this has inbuilt IR extender.
I use a Harmony remote in the main lounge, so am using the SkyHDi remote in the office and the IR is quite unreliable it wont work 25% of the time.  I think this is because the IR receiver on the SKY box is really fussy and some extended signals do not reliably work.  I haven't yet tried other units or separate ir extenders.
