Hi there,

I just brought a new Sony Bravia tv (ex4-32) but am having problems connecting my sky up. This is because my sky receiver box is in a different room to where I am putting my tv. With my old tv I just connected the aerial cable (which has a receiver on it as well so the remote still works) and then watched sky through the tv as a regular channel.

I can't seem to get this to work with this tv, is there something I'm missing or will I have to move the sky box into the same room?

Many thanks,

Alice

Which Sky box do you have? The RF our might be disabled in the advanced setup screen. What is the distance between the box and the TV?

You can never have enough Volvos!

+1, put the Mysky on the end of the aerial cable, and use an HDMI to connect to the TV

Thanks guys, I now have a working sky box!

I'm getting HD installed next week so am just coping with the sub par picture for now.
