I subscribe to mysky, and have the sport package.

But when trying to view the sports channels over isky it seems they want me to purchase multiroom? Why

To view SKY Sport 2 you must have a Sport Package with Multiroom subscription.
Upgrade your subscription, or sign up for multiroom

There is no point really IMO. Sure if you want to catch up on a TV show that you missed the other night on your lunch break its perfect but the quality is sh!t and most of the time it says "content not available" Its no wonder people pirate TV shows because half the time the quality is superior to sky and you can watch it where ever you like eg DVD, Ipad, PC etc.

For watching Liverpool v Man Utd at 2am this morning from the comfort of my bed rather than downstairs in the cold, cold lounge

Is it just me or does everyone have to subscribe to multi-room in order to view the sports channels?

That is not entirely True, it is:
Sport subscriber with multi-room   > watch Live sport contents + catch up sport videos
Sport subscriber without multi-room > watch catch up sport videos only

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.
